County Road 81A constitutes a 7.51 mile long loop north from CR 10A to the Walton County line near Lake Cassidy. CR 81A becomes CR 183 beyond the county line. CR 183 continues the loop 6.94 miles southwest along Kidd Road to U.S. 90 at Koerber.

CR 81A stems north from CR 10A across Sandy Creek along a rural course to Hardy Skipper Road.
