County Road 386A - Mexico Beach
County Road 386A is an unsigned route providing a cut off between U.S. 98 and County Road 386 in Mexico Beach. The 1.210 mile link follows 15th Street through the residential street grid of the coastal city.
East
A SR 386 keys shield preceded the east end of County Road 386A (15th Street) in Mexico Beach. CR 386 heads south 1.1 miles to U.S. 98 on the Gulf of Mexico and northeast 18.4 miles to SR 71 at Wewahitchka.

15th Street (CR 386A) curves southwest from the Ocean Plantation subdivision to connect with U.S. 98 along the Gulf of Mexico beachfront in Mexico Beach. This area was damaged catastrophically from the landfall of Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018.

Dating from February 22, 1972, this vintage shield assembly for U.S. 98 stood at the west end of CR 386A in Mexico Beach. This sign was eliminated with extension of the sidewalk along 15th Street east by 2015. U.S. 98 straddles the beachfront northwest toward Tyndall Air Force Base and south to Saint Joe Beach.
