There are two segments of County Road 475 marked in Sumter and Marion Counties. The southern branch extends 5.98 miles north through the city of Bushnell from SR 48 at N Main Street and W Belt Avenue near Downtown. Paralleling a CSX Railroad line, CR 475 constitutes a rural highway to SR 470 and Interstate 75 at Lake Panasoffkee.

The northern section of County Road 475 originates west of Wildwood and Interstate 75 from SR 44. 6.29 miles long in Sumter County, CR 475 converges with I-75 between Nichols Pond and CR 466 near Long Hammock. CR 475 spans the freeway and then proceeds along the east side of I-75 for a half mile before diverging north into Marion County.

Within Marion County, CR 475 continues along a rural route to CR 42 at Pedro, CR 475A at Danks Corner and CR 484 at Monroes Corner. The northernmost reaches of the 14.30 mile long leg in the county lines SE 1st Avenue to U.S. 27/301/401 (S Pine Avenue) in the city of Ocala.
