Sumter County Road 478A comprises a 6.40 mile long loop north from SR 50 at Wilson Corners to SR 471 at the city of Webster. The Scenic Sumter Heritage Byway overlays all of the rural highway, continue east along SR 50 to the Van Fleet Trail and north along SR 471 to CR 48 at Bevilles Corner.
