Osceola County Road 525

Osceola County Road 525

All unsigned, there are three branches of Osceola County Road 525 assigned in the Kissimmee-St. Cloud area. The western section underlays John Young Parkway 3.04 miles north from U.S. 17/92/192 (Vine Street) to the Orange County line within the city of Kissimmee. This portion doubles as Truck U.S. 17/92 between Vine Street and Osceola Parkway (CR 522). John Young Parkway north from the county line is a part of Orange County Road 423.

The 12.62 mile long, second branch of CR 525 originates along Neptune Road across the bridge over northern reaches of Lake Tohopekaliga in Kissimmee. Following Neptune Road, CR 525 parallels U.S. 192/441 southeast by Fish Lake to Old Canoe Creek Road (CR 534) in the city of St. Cloud. Neptune Road represents the original alignment of U.S. 192 between Main Street in Kissimmee and 13th Street in St. Cloud.

The Neptune Road Improvement Project reconstructs the roadway from two lanes to a divided, four lane arterial for 3.98 miles between Partin Settlement Road (CR 523) and U.S. 192/441 (13th Street). Construction is estimated to cost $40 million and take two years to complete. Design work for the project was finished in Summer 2023.

Old Canoe Creek Road leads CR 525 south through suburban areas east of Florida's Turnpike to Kissimmee Park Road. CR 525 splits with CR 523 (Old Canoe Creek Road) ahead of a half diamond interchange with the Turnpike (Exit 240). Kissimmee Park Road spurs south and west from the exchange to Kissimmee Park and Lake Tohopekaliga.

Kings Highway south from Neptune Road (CR 525) to Lake Tohopekaliga represents the last segment of Osceola County Road 525. The 2.38 mile long alignment connects with the Breckenridge and Regal Oak Shores neighborhoods.
