State Road 166 is a 5.05 mile long loop serving Florida Caverns State Park in Jackson County. Connecting with U.S. 90/SR 73 at Downtown Mariana, SR 166 follows Jefferson Street by Chipola College within the city. Crossing the Chipola River along Caverns Road, SR 166 continues north to the state park entrance and CR 167, and east to SR 71 near Marianna Municipal Airport (MAI).
There is also a separate branch of County Road 166 west from Chipley to the Holmes County line. Following North Boulevard and Old Bonifay Road, CR 166 travels 4.48 miles west from SR 277 (Main Street).
