Interstate 20

Connecting the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas with Shreveport and Monroe, Interstate 20 crosses the northern tier of Louisiana. The freeway spans the Mississippi River into the Magnolia State near Vicksburg over the Vicksburg Bridge opened in 1973. Throughout Louisiana, I-20 replaced or parallels U.S. 80.
