Wis 76 was formerly U.S. 45 before U.S. 45 was rerouted in 2003. Wis 76 (Jackson Street) serves the north side of Oshkosh and the Winnebago County Fairgrounds and offices.

A signalized diamond interchange joins Interstate 41 with Wis 76 at Exit 124, just north of the Oshkosh city limits.

Exit 124 was upgraded as part of the U.S. 41 Project to include improved turn lanes and lengthened entrance ramps for future ramp metering. STH-76 travels 43 miles from Oshkosh north to Menasha and U.S. 45 again in Bear Creek.

Interstate 41 shifts more southward along the Oshkosh city line as the freeway progresses another 25 miles to Fond du Lac. Milwaukee is 75 miles away.

U.S. 45 replaced Wis 110 in 2003 to provide a more direct route between Oshkosh and New London. The road was also upgraded to a freeway between I-41 and U.S. 10.

Exit 120 constitutes a dumbbell interchange with U.S. 45 (Algoma Boulevard) south into Oshkosh and the freeway northwest toward Butte des Morts and Winchester.

A flyover ramp carries traffic from I-41 north to U.S. 45 north. I-41/U.S. 45/U.S. 10 is used as a short cut for traffic heading to northern Wisconsin from the Milwaukee and Kenosha areas.

Traffic from U.S. 45 merges with I-41 after the Lake Butte Des Mortes Drive / Wiouwash Trail overpass. This bridge was built in conjunction with the U.S. 41 Project that added the wye interchange with the freeway along U.S. 45.

Wis 21 is a principal highway that traverses central Wisconsin westward. The trunk highway meets Interstate 41 in 0.75 miles at a dumbbell interchange (Exit 119). This exit was upgraded as part of the US 41 Project to include roundabouts and lengthened exit and entrance ramps.

The Lake Butte Des Mortes main channel bridge on I-41 south. The Wolf and Fox Rivers both flow into the lake from the west.

Exit 119 leaves Interstate 41 south from the Lake Butte Des Mortes Causeway with two lanes to Wis 21. Wis 21 follows Oshkosh Avenue east across the Fox River to Algoma Boulevard and U.S. 45 (Murdock Avenue). The trunk highway west bypasses Omro Road to a rural stretch leading to the city of Omro.

The 9th Avenue exit was reconstructed from a diamond to a dumbbell interchange as part of the US 41 Project. Work included a reconstructed overpasses for 9th Avenue and CTH-E (Witzel Avenue), relocation of the east frontage road (Koeller Street), and lengthened ramps.

Interstate 41 continues with commercial frontage roads southward from Omro Road to 20th Avenue.

Wis 44 serves Ripon and provides a short cut for travelers wanting to use Wis 23 west to reach the popular vacation destination of Wisconsin Dells. Wis 91 was designated in 1996 to provide a state highway connection between Oshkosh and Berlin.1

The EAA fly in is the largest aviation show in the world and is held on the last week of July. The EAA museum is open year round and is dedicated to aviation industry past and present. The EAA grounds also hold multiple outdoor conventions throughout the course of the year.

Exit 116 departs Interstate 41 south for Wis 44/91 and the south side of Oshkosh. The diamond interchange replaced a parclo A4 interchange as part of the US 41 Project.

1.25 miles further south along the west side of I-41 are the Ford Festival Grounds. It hosts Country USA, one of the largest country music festivals in America, along with Rock USA.

Upcoming Wis 26 is used mainly for traffic that is destined for Madison, as it provides a short cut between I-41 and U.S. 151. The control city was Waupun, but was changed to the village of Rosendale to encourage people to continue south to U.S. 151 and utilize the freeway/expressway combination.

Beginning at Exit 113, Wis 26 run 98 miles southward through south central Wisconsin to Janesville. Between Watertown and Janesville, Wis 26 was upgraded to a freeway with the exception of Johnson Creek where there are signalized intersections.
