Arkansas Highway 549 South

Opened to traffic July 2015, Arkansas Highway 549 travels between AR 22 (Fort Street) near Barling and U.S. 71 in southern reaches of Fort Smith along a six mile course. Running adjacent to Fort Chaffee, AR 549 is a part of future Interstate 49.
