Interstate 75 South - Bonita Springs to Naples

Interstate 75

Alligator Alley was constructed in the 1960's as another way to link Southwest Florida with South Florida. The original configuration was a narrow two-lane highway with daytime and nighttime speed limits enforced. The Alley was upgraded to interstate standards from the late 1980's to 1992. It was the final segment of I-75 completed in Florida.
