Batram Avenue becomes a part of PA 291 west of Island Avenue (SR 3013) to John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum. Tinicum Wildlife Refuge was renamed in honor of Senator John Heinz, who died April 4, 1991 in a plane crash in Philadelphia.
