Interstate 235 U.S. 77 South

Prior to the Off Broadway project started in 2016, a cloverleaf interchange joined U.S. 77 (Broadway Extension), IH 44/SH 66 and the north end of Interstate 235.

A new 45 foot high truss bridge was constructed for the BNSF Railroad during the Off Broadway and I-235 project. The span commenced operation in late February 2018.1

Replacing a 50 year old span to accommodate six lane expansion of IH 235, the BNSF Railroad bridge measures over 550 feet in length.1

Exit 2 B connects Interstate 235 with N 23rd Street at Broadway. NE 23rd Street leads east to the Oklahoma State Capitol at Lincoln Boulevard.

Downtown Oklahoma City comes into view from the viaduct taking IH 235/U.S. 77 south across the BNSF Railroad and N 23rd Street.

U.S. 77 extends south from Interstate 235 onto an overlap with IH 35 to Moore and the north side of Norman.
