


I-295 crosses the Delaware River into Lower Makefield Township in Bucks County. Major construction on the Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project started in April 2017. Costing $534, overall work was completed in April 2022. The first of two bridges opened with two way traffic on July 14, 2019.1

The folded diamond interchange at Exit 10 connects with Taylorsville Road (SR 2071) between the borough of Yardley and Washington Crossing. A weigh station follows along I-295 westbound.

The control point for U.S. 1 north changed from Morrisville to Trenton with the 2018 renumbering of I-95 to I-295. Crossing the Delaware River, U.S. 1 transitions onto the Trenton Freeway northeast to Lawrence township.
