Highway 1

Traveling 120 miles, Iowa 1 joins the southeastern Iowa county seats of Keosauqua, Fairfield, Washington, Iowa City and Anamosa. The state highway starts at Iowa 2 in Van Buren County and ends at the U.S. 151 expressway outside Anamosa. Outside of an urban stretch through Iowa City and Coralville, the state highway is mostly a two-lane route.
