IL 92 (38th Avenue) meets Interstate 88 at a diamond interchange (Exit 6) west of Joslin. The state route joins the freeway westward to its terminus at Interstate 80 and IL 5.

38th Avenue continues west from the Interstate 88 & IL 92 on-ramp to Former IL 2. IL 2 & 92 used to travel together to East Moline until the 1974 completion of the East-West Tollway (IL 5).
