Leaving the trumpet interchange with I-65, KY 446 travels 0.97 miles west to a partial interchange with U.S. 31W-68/KY 80 (Louisville Road). The trio follow Louisville Road west to Adams Street in Bowling Green. Plum Springs and Bristow lie northward along the four lane divided highway.

Corvette Drive intersects KY 446 midway between the end points. Corvette Drive connects KY 446 with the adjacent frontage roads, the GM Bowling Green Plant to the north, and the National Corvette Museum to the south.
