N.C. 103 and N.C. 104 are state routes linking Mount Airy, North Carolina with Patrick County, Virginia to the northeast. N.C. 104 becomes a state secondary route in Virginia while N.C. 103 becomes SR 103 to Claudville and SR 8.

North Carolina 104 east
The only traffic light along North Carolina 104 east is at Linville Road. Linville Road ventures east to North Carolina 103 (Pine Street) at Flat Rock and west to North Main Street in Mt. Airy. Photo taken 07/09/10.

N.C. 104 ends at N.C. 103 and the intersection of Riverside Drive and Pine Street. N.C. 103 follows Pine Street west two blocks to end at U.S. 52 Business & N.C. 89 (Renfro Street). North Carolina 103 west
