Pennsylvania Route 208 stretches 74.7 miles east from U.S. 422 at the Ohio state line in Pulaski township to PA 36 at Frills Corners in Clarion County. The rural highway runs across northern Lawrence County through Pulaski and the boroughs of New Wilmington and Volant. Turning northeast from PA 168, PA 208 enters Springfield township in southeastern Mercer County. The route overlaps briefly with U.S. 19 at Leesburg and PA 258 across I-79 before entering the borough of Grove City.

Branching northeast from PA 173 in Grove City, PA 208 continues to Barkeyville in southern Venango County. Paralleling Interstate 80, PA 208 advances east to Clintonville and Emlenton. Through Clarion County, PA 208 heads east to Knox and U.S. 322 at Shippenville and north to Millerstown and Fryburg.

PA 208 (Pulaski Road) branches northeast from U.S. 422 (Benjamin Franklin Highway) five miles to Pulaski. This distance sign was removed by 2007.

PA 208 (Pulaski Road) combines with PA 551 north for 0.76 miles into the community of Pulaski. PA 551 south heads to U.S. 224 at Edinburg.

PA 551 runs between the Shenango River and Interstate 376 north from Pulaski to PA 18 outside the borough of West Middlesex.

PA 208 (Pulaski Road) continues east from the split with PA 551 (Mercer Street) north to a diamond interchange with Interstate 376 (former PA 60).
