Route 420

Located wholly within Delaware County, Pennsylvania Route 420 runs 5.6 miles north from PA 291 (Industrial Highway) in Tinicum Township to PA 320 (Sproul Road) in Springfield Township. The four lane stretch along Wannamaker Avenue and Lincoln Avenue joins Interstate 95 with U.S. 13 (Chester Pike) in the borough of Prospect Park. Heading north into Ridley Township PA 420 (Kedron Avenue) travels to the borough of Morton. The northernmost section of the route follows Woodland Avenue to PA 320 at Beatty Road, just south of U.S. 1.
PA 420 (Wannamaker Avenue) crosses Darby Creek north onto Lincoln Avenue in the borough of Ridley Park. The first traffic light north of Interstate 95 is at 4th Avenue.
