Pennsylvania Route 452 stems north from U.S. 13 in the borough of Marcus Hook to PA 352 at Lima in Delaware County. 7.1 miles long, PA 452 follows Market Street from Marcus Hook to Linwood in Lower Chichester township and interchanges with I-95 and U.S. 322 in Upper Chichester township. North through Aston, PA 452 (Pennell Road) continues to Village Green. Crossing Chester Creek to Glen Riddle, PA 452 (S Pennell Road) in Middletown township intersects U.S. 1 ahead of PA 352 (Middletown Road) at Barren Road (SR 4004).

The first confirming marker for PA 452 stands along Market Street between U.S. 13 and 11th Street in Trainer. 07/27/07
The bridge spanning AMTRAK and the Norfolk Southern Railroad line along PA 452 in Marcus Hook was replaced during a $19.95 million project. Completed in Fall 2019, the new 343 foot long bridge replaced a 655 foot long concrete span built in 1925.1 07/27/07

PA 452 (Market Street) converges with Chichester Avenue (SR 3009) at Linwood ahead of the intersection with Ridge Road (SR 3006). Ridge Road was a part of U.S. 13 Bypass between Claymont, Delaware and Chester until 1965. 07/27/07
