Suitland Parkway
Suitland Parkway branches west from Maryland Route 4 by Joint Base Andrews 6.39 miles to the District of Columbia. Maintained by the National Park Service, the limited access road runs between Morningside and Forestville to Suitland, Silver Hill and into Washington by Hillcrest Heights. Within the Nation's Capital, Suitland Parkway continues to I-295 (Anacostia Freeway) and S Capitol Street by the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.
Suitland Parkway begins at the intersection with MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) and Presidential Parkway near Morningside. The controlled-access highway leaves a signalized intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue and immediately enters a trumpet interchange with Patrick Avenue to Andrews Air Force Base.
