Kimberly Road originally curved southward ahead of Elmore Avenue. The arterial was realigned to meet Interstate 74 directly across from Spruce Hills Drive. 01/01/15
A right turn connects with Kimberly Road south toward Downtown Bettendorf while U.S. 6 combines with Interstate 74 east to Moline, Illinois. 01/01/15
Elmore Avenue extends north from the turn of Kimberly Road as a commercial arterial paralleling I-74 north to the Rhythm City Casino Resort by Interstate 80. 01/01/15
Interstate 74 replaced Kimberly Road as the route to the Iowa-Illinois Memorial Bridge when it opened in 1971. U.S. 6 was realigned onto the freeway at that time. 01/01/15
U.S. 6 splits with Spruce Hills Drive as the arterial passes through the parclo interchange with I-74 into the city of Bettendorf. 01/01/15
Interstate 74 travels 417 miles overall between the Quad Cities and Cincinnati, Ohio. The route locally serves commuter interests to north Davenport and Bettendorf. 01/01/15
I-74 ends three miles to the north of U.S. 6 at Interstate 80. 01/01/15
