U.S. 27/441 North - Leesburg to Belleview

 

A $45.3 million project underway from Summer 2020 to early 2024 extends the six lane section of U.S. 27/441 northwest 4.157 miles from Lake Ella Road to Avenida Central in Lady Lake. Construction included the removal of the grade separation at CR 25A, where a Seaboard Coast Railroad line once passed under U.S. 27/441. CR 25A west of U.S. 27/441 will end at a cul-de-sac, while a new signalized intersection connects with CR 25A north.¹
