U.S. 61 is a primary highway that stretches nearly 121 miles through the rolling hills of southwestern Wisconsin. U.S. 61 enters the southwest corner of Wisconsin via the Dubuque-Wisconsin bridge over the Mississippi River and navigates northward toward the city of La Crosse, where it crosses the Mississippi River once more and enters Minnesota.
