U.S. 90 West - Ocean Springs to Biloxi

The bridge taking U.S. 90 across the Bienville Boulevard frontage road, the CSX Railroad, and Porter Avenue access road was constructed in 2007/08.

A right in right out (RIRO) intersection connects U.S. 90 (Bienville Boulevard) westbound with the access road leading to parallel Porter Avenue and the Biloxi Bay fishing pier.

The $338.6 million design-built contract for the Biloxi Bay Bridge was awarded by MDOT in June 2006 (LaFontaine, Baker, Perez, Newsom, 2007). The span opened to traffic with two lanes on November 1, 2007 (Mississippi Press, 2007).
