U.S. 422/SR 8-14 west conclude at S Roadway (U.S. 6/20 east) and Public Square in Downtown Cleveland.

U.S. 322 west and U.S. 42 north also end at U.S. 6/20 and Public Square. U.S. 6/322 overlap east along Superior Avenue to E 13th Street. U.S. 42 combines with U.S. 6/20 (Superior Avenue) west across the Veterans Memorial Bridge to W 25th Street.

Prior to the removal of Ontario Street from Public Square, the movement from U.S. 422 west to U.S. 6/20/42 west utilized Rockwell Avenue and W Roadway to connect with Superior Avenue.

The former intersection of Ontario Street (U.S. 422) and Superior Avenue (U.S. 6/20/42/322). Superior Avenue was converted to a busway between W and E Roadways.

Ontario Street was removed between S Roadway and Rockwell Avenue. U.S. 6/20 west were realigned from Superior Avenue onto Rockwell Avenue during the redevelopment of Public Square.
