U.S. 460 meets U.S. 29 (Wards Road) south and U.S. 29 Business north at a cloverleaf interchange near Vista Acres in south Lynchburg. U.S. 29 Business follows Wards Road north 1.6 miles to U.S. 501 on the Lynchburg Expressway. Wards Road also connects with U.S. 460 Business (Fort Avenue).
