Highway 89

WY-89 begins at the diamond interchange (Exit 5) joining I-80/U.S. 189 with WY 150 and Front Street in the city of Evanston. WY-150 travels south to join the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway over the High Uintas. Northward, WY-89 enters Downtown Evanston, where it combines with Business Loop I-80 across the Union Pacific Railroad and Bear River. Continuing north from Evanston, WY-89 parallels the Bear River to the Utah state line.
Utah State Route 16 takes over for Wyoming Highway 89, 11.59 miles north of I-80 in Evanston. SR 16 leads to Woodruff, Randolph and SR 30 at Sage Creek Junction. SR 30 east connects with the continuation of WY-89, 4.15 miles to U.S. 30 near Sage. U.S. 30/WY-89 overlap north to Cokeville and Border Junction. U.S. 30 turns west into Idaho while WY-89 advances north across Thomas Fork Valley to U.S. 89 at Geneva as Idaho State Highway 61.
