Florida State Road 429


Wekiva Parkway Section 6 construction removed this section of SR 46 across the Wekiva River. It was replaced with a new service road built along the south side of the elevated toll road. 09/02/19

SR 46 was temporarily realigned onto the eventual southbound roadway for SR 429 west of the Wekiva River. 02/12/21

Wekiva Parkway Section 6 construction built a wildlife crossing viaduct system along the north side of SR 46 by Rock Springs Run Reserve. 09/02/19

SR 46 west after the former split with CR 46A. This section of SR 46 ends at an access road leading north to Service Road Number 2 (north side frontage road for SR 429) and Sleepy Bear Lane (old CR 46A). 09/02/19

SR 46 turned southwest to meet the temporary north end of SR 429 (Wekiva Parkway). A diamond interchange nearby replaced this at-grade intersection during Section 5 work through late 2019. 09/02/19

Providing a 2.8 mile bypass of Mt. Plymouth, the initial section of Wekiva Parkway opened south from SR 46 to CR 435 (Mt. Plymouth Road) on January 20, 2016. 09/02/19

SR 46 along the north side frontage road for Wekiva Parkway extends west to intersect the realignment of CR 46A just north of the diamond interchange at Exit 44. 02/27/16

Until May 15, 2022, SR 429 south began along Wekiva Parkway Section 4B from what was an at-grade intersection with SR 46 near Mt. Plymouth. 09/02/19

The diamond interchange at Exit 44 was completed as part of Section 5 to realign CR 46A south to SR 429. 02/27/16

Work on the Florida's Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) project for Section 5 started on June 5, 2017 and ran through October 31, 2019. 02/27/16
