Crossing under SR 56, a diagrammatic guide sign alerted motorists to the upcoming wye interchange (Exit 274) with Interstate 275 in 1.5 miles. 04/17/04

This panel was replaced by 2016 when the expansion project of I-75 at the county line was completed. 09/02/13

Formerly posted ahead of the SR 56 on-ramp was a state-named shield for Interstate 75 advising motorists to move to the left for the upcoming split with Interstate 275. I-275 is the final child route of I-75 south encountered along the 1,786-mile route from northern Michigan. 10/15/06

Interstate 75 south carried just three lanes from SR 56 to the split with I-275. Expansion initially added a fourth southbound lane. 04/17/04

A greenout was applied to the diagrammatic sign at the Cypress Creek bridge to reflect the fourth southbound lane addition to I-75 south. Subsequent work completed by 2016 further widened the I-75/275 split to seven lanes. 03/01/13

Historically Exit 274 consisted of a wye interchange with two lanes for both I-75 south to Brandon and I-275 south into Tampa. 04/17/04

Replacement signs added at the I-75/275 separation (Exit 274) by 2011. This set of signs was again replaced by 2016 with a wide arrow per lane sign (APL). 03/01/13
