Best image hosting for one-off photos?

I have both a Flickr page and my own domain. Yet I don't find either of them to be that great for hosting images that I might just want to post here.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good free image hosting service that would work for that purpose? What is everyone else using?

For one-off photos, imgur.com seems to work well. It's what I usually use.

I've used Photobucket for a long time on the recommendation of a friend and it's been fine, easy to use. Also, their iPhone/iPad apps have been pretty good for direct uploads from said devices.

I set up a folder structure on my server to handle specials.  I think any AA Roads images that aren't located in the photo gallery are in nysroads.com/files/aaroads.  Usually in those cases I'll appeal to street view if I can though... less work.

I have a folder on my site (millenniumhwy.net/loose_pics/) but it's a PITA to remember what you name the file to link to it. (I use Cyberduck for Mac for my FTP client and I haven't figured out how to set my site to allow browsing of a directory to pull up the image so I can copy the URL and paste it into the image link function here.

Photobucket might work best for me for uploading iPhone pics.

IMO, Flickr isn't that bad for one-off items.  I use it a fair bit myself.

Unless I'm misunderstanding something... In Cyberduck, just right click (option click) the photo file, then go to Copy URL > HTTP URL. Then paste the URL directly into the forum editor. Easy as that.

Photobucket works for me too.  It's a little cumbersome with a really busy and corny interface, when all I want is to just quickly upload a photo and then paste the link.  But ultimately it gets the job done.

For quick photos, I host on www.ezimba.com. Only drawback is that they disappear after 90 days, but I don't find that to be too much a problem.
