Smallest BGS in your area

Inspired by the "Largest BGS in your area" thread, I decided it'd be a good idea to have a thread for the smallest BGS in different members areas.

Probably the smallest BGS in Huntsville, AL is this one for Drake Avenue on Memorial Parkway.

I did a search and found nothing, so if this thread already exists, please merge it with the pre-existing thread.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

The two on the right in this picture come to mind. Sorry it's so grainy, but this video capture is the best picture I have of them. They're new within the past month or so. There used to be an overhead gantry with two hideous implementations of Clearview, one of which the FHWA used as an example of how not to use said typeface. I assume these two signs are intended to be temporary.

If you want to see what used to be there, check the following Street View image. The old gantry spanned both the general-purpose lanes and the reversible carriageway. I don't know why the new sign for the reversible lanes couldn't be mounted on the old gantry.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

Probably qualifies for the worst-of, particularly since the 'EXIT ONLY' is slapped on.  Honestly, the slip lane should be removed since they widened the route between the bridge and I-405.

Take the road less traveled.

Well, after looking around my city for 20 minutes on Streetview, this is as small as it gets:

http://goo.gl/maps/JRO2r

The sign on the left that is I estimate to only be about 2 m (6 ft) wide and about 1 m (3 ft) tall (I approximate by assuming the width of a standard car to be 1 m wide). One can compare it to the (long gone FHWA font) speed limit sign on the right.

I think that "exit-only" is going to come down once they permanently switch the HOV lanes.

Though as far as slip lanes go, I'm not sure what you're talking about. What slip lane?

Here's a few, including another photograph of Stratuscaster's on US-20 in Elgin.

CDOT has some small ones as well on LSD:

And this temporary one on I-55 Nbd at County Line Road:

This I-49 pullthrough, if you can call it that, is cenla's smallest. It'd be a great spot to put a larger sign with Shreveport beneath it.

Smallest in Rochester, NY:

This was intended to be a temporary sign while the overhead BGS was being replaced, but it was never removed.  Now it's an interesting little oddity in Rochester's signage.

And though I've never lived in NYC, the thread immediately made me think of this:

I was by there yesterday, and that panel is bad.  I have to presume it is a temporary installation.

If I can get a safe image of it I intend to do so, in part for the AAROADS "worst sign" collection.

Almost tempted to call someone I know at VDOT, but I think I will leave it before now - or until I can get an image of it.

I've always enjoyed these around the Binghamton, N.Y. area.  I believe they were to be temporary installations, but some of these little guys were up for over six years.

Smallest BGSes I can think of in my area are the signs on I-93 southbound in Methuen (MA) for "Pelham St", which have no other destinations.

The Largo sign for sure:

I'm assuming it's the re-purposing of an existing gantry, but it's a bit excessive...the Old Exit tab is larger than the LGS.

I found this one (if you can even call it a BGS) close to my house. Get ready for the Arialveticverstesk!

Total opposite of BC. Speed limit signs are in Arialveticverstesk and BGSs are in Clearview.

Helvetica, to be more specific. But I have seen Series E and Clearview Speed limit signs in BC.

This sign is if I-64 still has it near Waynesboro for the exit leading to Ivy in its slim design.  Back in the 1980s it was even better as the exit tab used to stick out over both ends of the sign.  I see VDOT managed to at least fix that one, though.
