If everybody's life is a highway, what highway's yours?

Mine (so far) is probably any old highway through wide open rural Connecticut.

My highway is I-75 of course. ;-)

Olive Garden must be stopped.  I must stop them.

One of the 80-mile-per-hour Interstates.  Going fast, seeing a lot of things, but not really getting anywhere for long periods of time.  There are cities, but they're far apart; there's a lot to get through before the next one.  The cities are special, but I've learned to appreciate the ride in between.
I'd like to buy a vowel, Alex.  What is E?

All roads lead away from Rome.

Rothman

One of those suspension-busting Pennsylvania back roads that had no care for going over whichever bump was in its way.  Lots of ups and downs, but what a ride.

pianocello

A rural Midwestern road with a bunch of hills and curves that doesn't see a lot of traffic. It's paved, but it constantly makes you second-guess yourself as to whether it goes anywhere or not.

jeffandnicole

A highway with nothing but closed exits, but I take the exit anyway just to see what's going on.

A twisty 2 lane mountain road with beautiful scenery and lots of overlooks to pull off at and enjoy the view.

A neighborhood street with half-a-million stop signs and traffic lights along it.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

Dead-end road full of potholes and other menaces that cause damage to your vehicle that you can't afford to repair.

My life really sucks right now, so there's no reason for its highway not to suck as well.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

empirestate

A toll road that nobody uses because there is an extremely convenient shunpike nearby.

DaBigE

A rural highway with a few bumps and curves, in addition to a lot of tourists and Sunday drivers constantly getting in my way. Actually, it sounds a lot like US 12 :hmmm:

The road seems okay, but it's foggy as hell and I'm not sure exactly which way it's going.  Can't even read the signs until it's too late to turn.  But if I slow down, that thing in the rear-view mirror is going to get me.

I-5. Both of the places I've lived in have been within hearing distance of it, I walk across it almost daily, I commute on it (by bus) to Seattle, etc.

I can also count Community Transit bus route 201 as "my bus route", having been born on, lived on, shopped on and commuted on its route my whole life.

Any highway that is strewn with litter, since I feel like I'm constantly shit on.  (Birds seem to like shitting on my car too, for some strange reason.)
