More seasonable early November weather after snow squalls on Halloween. Ended up being the 2nd most snowfall on Halloween in the Chicago area, only behind 2019
The local weatherman, trust me I can be 99.9% right!

October began in the 90s and ended with snow on the ground. Four seasons? What are the other two?

Having recovered from our last cold blast last week, we're back to comfortable temperatures again.  Wednesday night in particular our lows dropped to mid 40s.  Also with very little moisture in the air, the Heat Index won't be more than a couple degrees higher than the actual temperature.

Of the 31 daily national record highs in October 2023:  four days occurred in Arizona, eleven days in California, two days in Florida, and 14 days in Texas.  The average of the 31 days calculated to around 101 degrees.  The highest day last month was a tie:  108 degrees in Imperial and Thermal both in California on October 20th and 21th, respectively.

Currently in Toronto, where it's just below freezing and there's been a mix of hail and freezing rain.

It was a sparkling 70-degree autumn afternoon in Berkeley for the final home game of the Pac-12 Era...and we hung on (barely) for a win!

It's an unseasonably warm 15C (59F) and partly cloudy. Temperatures will be dropping this weekend and next week may have snow showers.

Clear, 50 degrees. It rained a few days ago, which is rare for this region.
There's nothing as permanent as a temporary solution, and Caltrans makes that philosophy very clear.

Temperatures are right around normal for Thanksgiving; though we are in for a rainy and cooler week after the Thanksgiving weekend concludes.
