Hotter than balls.  Balls are only 98.6.  Heat index makes them extraordinarily sweaty as well.

Other than SVR issued for SOUTHWESTERN part of Harnett County, Hotter than Hades outside with temps today? 100 degrees! Mostly sunny skies expected before TWO cold fronts head our way.

Not current, but yesterday:

It got as high as 98-99 degrees around 2 PM before a short-lasting thunderstorm came around VA-230 at 2:30 PM. The temps dipped to around 94, before the sun returned for a few hours.

At 8:10 PM, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for my area, and about 8:45, the storm actually came and it was crazy. Very heavy rain, heavy wind, very frequent lightning.

That storm left before I believe another one took over while I was heading off to sleep, I heard some thunder while trying to sleep.

Today is somewhat chilly for late June, mostly cloudy with a high of 22C (72F). It's expected to dip all the way down to 7C (45F) tonight, which will make tomorrow morning cool.

It's only 69F here as we approach 3PM... that's over 20F cooler than this time last week which is a very welcome change.
