Just did a nine-day trip from San Diego up into British Columbia and back. Details are in the Road Trips forum. But I did manage to clinch US-89, which goes from Flagstaff AZ to Canada, and the western I-84, which goes from Portland to east of Salt Lake City. Also, the remaining US routes in NV, including alternates. And the remaining interstates in the westernmost seven states. Oh, and the last three state highways in California, CA-45, CA-113, and CA-82, so my coverage of California in travelmapping.net is now 99.97%, due only to a bit of road in Death Valley that's been closed for years.

Last two trips into Washington have netted me everything west of I-5 south of Ballard, including the entirety of the Olympic Peninsula. That also gives me a technical 100% of US 101, but I was too young to remember the Hollywood-Arroyo Grande portion.
Outside of a few US 101B (poor signage) in California, and the Edmonds segment of WA 104, I also have all of 101's child routes.

I was able to finish off the remaining ~15 miles of US 12 that I hadn't been on in Minnesota. I tried to clinch it a year ago but a few bridges in Swift County were under construction so I was missing the stretch between Benson and US 59 until today.

Hunty2022

I've completed a very unique clinch today; VA-184.

I got everything east of Tazewell Avenue in Cape Charles (all the way to US 13) by car, before evening-jogging the rest of the route to complete the clinch.

Completed US 441 in Florida, which took me ...
[checks watch] ...42 years.

(Also finished off US 17. US 19, and US 23 while I was at it, but I lived right off 441 for a few years.)

At least you won't get a ticket at that speed.

At 10.5 miles per year, I may have outpaced the seismic movement of Earth's tectonic plates, but not by much.

Take that, Birmingham Northern Beltline!

That is my 184 as well - there aren't very many 184's around.  I made a point to nab it a few years ago when I was driving through Delmarva on the way to Virginia Beach.  Coincidentally I just got back from another trip down there where I clinched some more (higher) numbers (update pending).

I took care of one last weekend that was really annoying me - the 0.18 mile segment of US201Alt/ME8 between ME16 and ME234 across the Carrabassett River in North Anson.  After several years of missing that one little segment, I finally have full clinches of both US201Alt and ME8.  While in the area, I also finished up ME106, ME133, ME17, ME134, and ME27.  Only 62 more routes to complete the whole state of Maine.  I don't think I'll ever get all the border crossings, but I should be able to knock out the rest in the next few years.

Then I must be a lucky SOB for clinching both CO-184 in Cortez, CO and SR-184/Alexis Avenue in Toledo, OH dozens of times.

I also have CO184, but also I-184 (which I assume is a lot of people's 184 option) and K-184.

Probably not a ton of people (outside of NY's St. Lawrence valley region) whose only 184 is the same as mine: NY 184.

Some from the Reno Meet roundtrip:

- NV 425 (I-80 BL in Verdi)
- Pioneer Trail (old Lincoln Highway at South Lake Tahoe)
- Johnsons Pass Road (Old Lincoln Highway and Old US 50)
- Jackson Gate Road (Early California Legislative Route Number 65)

I don't recommend CA-184. It's kind of a dump.

Max Rockatansky

It certainly is a Weedpatch...

I clinched a 184 in Alabama and later, Illinois. Nothing much exciting about either one.

Today I clinched OK 97, OK 151, and OK 167. All pretty short routes that I was able to clean up in a couple of hours.

In the past few days I have clinched/finished clinching: ND 30 (middle segment), ND 15, both segments of ND 31, and ND 25. I almost clinched the rest of I-94 in North Dakota, but there were a few exits I took and rejoined the highway on. I should be going through that section of the highway later this month without taking those exits, which will result in a clinch.

Today I clinched ND 34 and ND 46.

Yesterday, I did the following for a fall foliage trip:
US 3/Everett Turnpike to Exit 8 → NH 101A → NH 101 → Local roads in Dublin and Jaffrey to see Mount Monadnock from different angles, although I didn't enter the state park → NH 124 → NH 101 again → NH 9 → US 5 → VT/NH 119 (including a covered bridge in Winchester NH) → US 202 → "hypotenuse" → MA 12 → MA 140 → MA 2 → I-495. Everything past US 3 exit 5 is new for me until I got to MA 12. NH 119 → US 202 may seem unusual; this is because the driver partway through said he wanted to go the fastest way.

This means that I clinched VT 119 (which I decided to do by foot first and then drive afterwards). My intent was to clinch NH 119 and MA 40 (because of the LRTA buses, I have the portion east of US 3 already minus 600 feet; going past the US 3 entrance ramp and turning around would have been enough). However, the mid-route change prevented that.

If he had said that he wanted to go the fastest way earlier, I would have clinched NH 78 and gotten all but 2/3 mile of MA 78 (but I would have gotten less new mileage overall).

Dunno if I've posted it here yet or not, but I've clinched AL 301 recently.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.
