Saturday: Pretty much stuck around the house
Today: ? Might go see a band. Might go on a day trip.
Tomorrow: Undoubtedly will stick around the house.

Ended up the day trip was a trip to my son and daughter-in-law's for a night of sangria and cards. Spent the night and came home this morning.

Today was just a regular day over here, as Labor Day is May 1. However I had a great weekend, as I reached out to the family of an autistic boy at an ultra trail race, and being somewhat autistic myself as well (in fact what was formerly known as Asperger's) I shared my experience with them.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Spent the day engaged in mild hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  I thought it would be a softie on a National holiday and I was right.  My wife has never been, so that's another park off her list.  Spent the afternoon in a close to empty downtown Cleveland.

Quote from: Hunty2022 on September 01, 2024, 10:07:06 AMI might go on my long-awaited Roanoke Trip tomorrow, if not then I'll either do the Virginia Beach trip or stay home.

I didn't stay home, but I stayed in my home county, spending time with some relatives.

You should have stayed in Detroit for another day. You could have gone to the Detroit Zoo and seen me in my volunteer role at the Australian Outback exhibit.

Still in the area for another day, we are heading to Frankenmuth in a couple hours.  My wife is a Christmas enthusiast and today is her birthday.

Worked Friday (but left early to make it to the vet before they closed to pick up flea treatments for the felines).

On Saturday, I made my normal trip to town to use my Dollar General coupon (this time it was save $10 off a $40 purchase) and visit the grocery store.

Sunday, I went to my brother's to have him replace the AC blower motor in my truck. Unfortunately, the bad motor also took out the resistor, so the fan only works on high, so I'll have to get a resistor to install.

Yesterday was my 29th wedding anniversary. We stayed home and did nothing special.

Hey, we have Labour Day up here too, it's just a letter longer! :D

Mine wasn't too exciting, just stayed around home, still working on chores for the new house (weekend #3 living here). I did get a Costco membership on Sunday though (an important mark of adulthood!) :-D
