Hi everyone, I'm hanging in there!

Here is the link to the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/share/1Vu4h9QBSv/?mibextid=wwXIfr

I plan to finalize the itinerary ASAP, but here's a sneak peak:

Lunch in Hagerstown, MD at Foster's on the Point Restaurant at 11 am, then a drive through look at the Dual Highway Complete Streets Quick Build project that Laura worked on in 2024!

PA: Hays Stone Arch Bridge and Witherspoon Covered Bridge

MD: Wilson Bridge (Old National Pike),
Williamsport - Salisbury Street Bridge and Railroad Lift Bridge. Also an Old Route Shield! Antietam National Battlefield (including Burnside Bridge), Antietam Ironworks Bridge

VA: US 340

WV: Drive through Harpers Ferry (slope remediation project, historic town) and Shepherdstown

How are the tour notes coming along?  I was hoping to print them out tomorrow night.

Yeah, I'm leaving tomorrow morning as well, which is why it would be nice to print/go over them tonight.  Travel days are always a whirlwind.

I actually prepared an emergency backup plan (which includes a stop at Great Falls Park).  I suppose worst case we could make it a city meet.  It's honestly tempting me into breaking off after lunch, since that part of US 29 is vexing me (on the other hand, that's a lot of I-70, especially since I'd be going over it again on my drive back).

Eh, at this point the meet is happening.  Wouldn't worry about a backup plan.  Got a dozen people going.

Safe travels everyone! Looks like Stephanie is coming  we will be leaving our house early Saturday morning making a few retail stops along the way, we have an open schedule for the whole day, she will probably do her own thing after lunch while we are on the tour.

Enjoy the meet! As much as I'd like to channel some other roadgeeks and book a last-minute transcontinental flight to make a surprise appearance, that's not in the cards this weekend.

Good catch! We'll have to correct the paper copies tomorrow.

Also, if at any point people are looking to propose snack/bathroom breaks, there are two Sheetz locations on the tour: one on Artizan St conveniently right near the old US 11 sign, and one at the corner of MD 66 and US 40.  Otherwise we appear to be in a bit of a convenience store desert.

There is a Sheetz on US 340 a mile or two west of WV 230.  I stopped there on my way back north in March to certify US 340.
