Why do some forum members always have to click the Cloudflare checkbox to prove they're a human, while other forum member rarely have to do so?

There's a lot of overlap between this hobby and the furry fandom.

We have users that are bears, buffalo, cockroaches, deer, dogs, frogs, hogs, ghosts, goats, jays, owls, silverbacks, trolls, trout, and weasels.

I was thinking more of a hawk, since it's a part of JayhawkCO's handle.

But as Google shows, a Jayhawk is neither a jay nor a hawk, but rather one of the most famous college sports mascots in history. I Googled "what is a jayhawk", and here's what it came up with:
