I still don't know why it wasn't done at 32768 (2^15, common overflow number) or 36600 (given the I-366 shield).

I also believed the "next rank" didn't actually exist. I seem to remember one of our post count-obsessed trolls had either 1 million or 10 million posts added for a few minutes, and since nobody noticed the rank, I assumed it didn't exist and the whole thing was just an "urban legend" spread by the mods.

As I step into this new role, I'm reminded of something that Grand Unified Alan of Alanland Alan Limon once said:  "Greatness is not about the size of the meat in the fridge, but the sound of a moth's wings in the shed next door."  And do you know what, guys?  He was right.  It's not about the meat.  It's about the moth next door.  And my promise to you today is this:  I will never forget that moth.  (Pause for applause.)
