Somebody really drew a motley assortment of routes on the map without caring about where they actually go. I-80/90 just disappear in Indiana, I-94 doesn't exist west of Michigan, but hey, they have the all-important, unfinished I-69 there.

That is the routing of México Fed. 16, not Fed. 49! :banghead:

And somehow I-35's northern terminus moved to somewhere around Lanesboro, MN.

It must have been someone who is completely ignorant of where Interstate Highways go.

Instead of 407 ETR, it's now 407 QEW :-D

It's being reported in the Free Press that a ribbon-cutting will take place this Friday!!! Unfortunately paywalled article, so I don't see the full details (such as best places to park in order to attend, etc.), but we're finally getting closer to being able to use our Breakaway money.

That might give MTO some ideas to multiplex QEW with Hwy-407 from Hamilton to Fort Erie. :-D

That's like saying "a couple" always means exactly two, "a few" always means exactly three, and "several" always means exactly three. These are approximate expressions -- just like "a month or so."

Ah, yes, in Beltwayworld, "in the next month or so" means "nearly four months from now".  Sure, whatever, dude.

Back then, the project team was signaling a late‑spring opening. 'A month or so' reflected that. The schedule slipped, as infrastructure schedules often do. The bridge opening this Friday doesn't retroactively change what the public information was at the time.

Since when is March "late spring"?  Even early spring would be generous.  More like late winter!

I didn't redefine the seasons -- I described the project's guidance. Big difference.

Alright are the rumors true about the speed limit being 30mph / 50km/h on the bridge?

I wouldn't be surprised considering you have to stop for customs immediately after crossing the bridge.

What are the speed limits on the Ambassador Bridge and the Blue Water Bridge?

If it really does open, I might get out there on Juneteenth.

You redefined "late spring" to include mid-March (or so).

The bridge opens in days. Most people are excited. You seem irritated. Why?
