Picture was taken yesterday on Southbound I-515 just past the I-215 intersection near Henderson.  Here's two even more interesting signs (sorry for going OT)...but I haven't seen an interstate shield signed as "Loop" before, nor one as a green shield.  Both of these shields are near McCarran International.

there are also several tricolor INTERSTATE LOOP 215 shields on green signs, as of the last time I was there (Dec '09).  It looks like, given their vacillation between tricolor and green, they cannot decide what color an INTERSTATE LOOP should be.  It seems to be a perfectly viable freeway loop road, so it should be I-215 without any reference to green or loop - it's the county road (Clark County route 215) that is an arterial with traffic light controlled intersections.

Washington state routes 515, 516 on a green sign

where is that?  it has some classic 1960s Washington custom fonts!

here's the most obvious 516

a classic 165

a state 156 showing how little California route markers have changed since 1964

and a horrible, horrible goof-up from Ohio

Shockingly, it's at the junction of SR 515 and SR 516 in Kent

Yup, as of...gosh, either late 2007 or early 2008

Washington tends to neglect signage on Puget Sound area arterial SRs- lots of nice old signs- this one is especially old, but there's a few others

there was once a state-named I-405 sign on Rainier Boulevard (SR-167)... but I tried looking for it this March and it appears to be gone.

Yeah, that's my picture. It was on mainline SR 900 (Sunset Blvd) eastbound at the Rainier Ave junction. I think I took that shot in March of 07 or so- it was some time in early 2007.

A little grainy, but...
If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

Yep, gone.  I don't recall offhand what replaced it, but we drove there in March 2010 and that certainly wasn't there.

the 90 and 405 at the airport are still around.
