Closer than me.  Half-mile as the crow flies, 3/4 mile via car.

triplemultiplex

I-43 is just over a mile to my west.
Before I moved to Milwaukee, home was about 90 miles beyond the northern terminus of I-39.

How close are you to the nearest Interstate? I live 2.2 miles south of I-64 in Indiana just outside Louisville. It's also a straight shot to the exit which also 2.2 miles away. So needless to say I am a fan of the Interstates in America.

I live pretty close to you.  I'm 2.0 miles east of I-65 in Jeffersonville, and 1.2 miles from what will eventually be called I-265.
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

At home: About 3.6 miles from I-295 at VA 36 in Hopewell

In Blacksburg: About 9.5 miles from I-81 in Christiansburg via US 460

My nearest Interstate is I-95 in Maine, about 3000 miles away :spin:
And I'm a bit further away (despite being more south and not that much more east: Great Circles and all that) - not quite by as much as it is between us on the flat.

signalman

I'm about 1 mile from I-80 via roads.  As the crow flies, less than 1/4 mile.  I can always hear the traffic during rush hours if I'm home.

xcellntbuy

Approximately five miles west from Interstate 95, from Exit 39 Sample Road.  I also live about 2-1/2 miles south of the area toll road, the Sawgrass Expressway, FL 869, Exit 18, US 441/State Road 7.

Alps

I'm about 150 feet from I-287 and half a mile from I-80.  I don't hear the noise at all, either, thanks to noise walls.  Closest access to the I- system is about 1/2 mile to the I-287 interchange, about 1 mile to I-80.

KillerTux

About 2 1/2 miles from I-97 through the woods.

hbelkins

As the crow flies, I am 33.2 miles from I-75 in the vicinity of Berea in Madison County.

As a matter of driving, it takes about an hour for me to get to I-75 at Richmond or I-64 at either Winchester or Mt. Sterling.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

okroads

I live 1.6 miles from the Kilpatrick Turnpike, 6.9 miles from I-44, and 7.8 miles from I-40. I work 1.3 miles from I-44 and 3.1 miles from I-235.

elsmere241

About two miles from I-95, a little more from the starting points of I-295 and I-495 in Delaware.

Hot Rod Hootenanny

As the crow flies, I'm just over a mile NW from I-71, via direct connection, approx 4 miles from the house to exit 141 for I-71.
When I lived in Clintonville (North Columbus), I was a 1/4 mile west of I-71 (if you wanted to walk across a Marzetti food processing plant parking lot and several active railroad tracks)
When I was attending LSU, I lived a mile and a half, then just a half mile from I-10. When I spent 2 years in Zachary (suburban Baton Rouge) I was 5 miles and change from the north end of I-110 (8 miles by car via La 964/US 61)
The furthest I ever lived from an interstate was when I was a kid living in East Claridon (heart of the NE Ohio snowbelt) where the closest freeway was I-90 at 12 and a half miles NW from me (as the crow flies), 14 miles driving from East Claridon to I-90/Oh 44.
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

TheStranger

At one point I lived across a soundwall from I-80...currently I live about 4 miles from hidden I-305, and 6 from I-5.

Where I grew up I was about 1/2mile from I-94, the closest interchange was about 2 miles. Where I live now, is about 70-75 miles from I-39/90 in Madison.

Kacie Jane

Live 5 blocks from I-5, work 1.4 miles from it.  (Both are distances from interchanges.)

AZDude

I'm about six miles from I-10.

Urban Prairie Schooner

~285 feet from the southbound lanes of Louisiana's I-110.

The traffic noise is a constant drone but concrete walls in my building mitigate the sound drastically.
