Was the Cape May Ferry closed recently due to the discovery of a WWII mine in the Cape May Canal?

I heard a rumor to that, but uncertain to the timing of the closing hence the word " recently."

They keep sending me emails about ferry rides so I would assume no.

EDIT: It was brief and is now back running as of yesterday morning.

Whatever happened to the pedestrian bridge in Paramus, NJ that spanned across Route 4 near Bergen Mall?

Considering it was for shoppers to cross the highway without getting in their cars, I would figure it would never be removed.

I found this old relic in Carneys Point on Salem County Route 602.

An old 2di shield for US 130.

No there was one that existed before that one.  One that extended from the two shopping centers on both sides.

That one, you linked to, is near Forest Avenue at the two bus stops where approximately this one was

Why is the connector from NJ 48 to US 40 closed until 2027?

It's not. This is bad data being fed into Google Maps. The intersection was redone to add a traffic light and jughandles. The access is still there between 48 and 40, but on a permanently different alignment.

Wonder who's responsible for this bad data entry?

Because it's 1956 hours US EDT and Google Maps is still showing the closure.

It's similar to the closure on 295 South at NJ 42. It says the road is closed and will reopen in several hours, but the roadway is no longer there and never will be. The different alignment is open and moving without issue.
