If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

And I will be using Pena Blvd rather than E-470 :pan:

What's up with that sign being so far away from the highway?

I was about to ask the same thing. It looks like that sign could serve the frontage (is it a frontage road?) road there.

I wasted enough time looking for where the picture was, but I didn't spend the time to see if there were signs about a mile back that would inform motorists of this exit.  There is plenty of room in the easement between the Frontage Road and I-25 for that sign.
Take the road less traveled.

One of the few places in Kentucky where a state highway has an "end" sign.

And I don't know what's up with the oversized US 62 markers, either, except that these were contractor-installs when this new road was built.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

I don't know why the sign is so far back from the highway; but this is New Mexico we are talking about...

Because down in Miami, some of the tolls are just one way.  So, on the side that doesn't have the Toll, they take that word out of the shield and leave it going in the other dirrection.  They do the same thing on FL-112.
