There is an exception to that rule.  NY Ends and CT Ends are actually hosted on gribblenation.net, which does allow hotlinking as a result of my laziness.  Of course, there's always Flickr...

I don't understand the logic of calling this Exit 98.
#1 It's an I-540 exit number (but 540 ends at #93)
#2 I-49 won't pass through here

Your browser more than likely showed what was cached when you pulled up the images on the original pages. And don't forget you can use exit numbers, milemarkers, clearances, or other numbers (same value rule).
