For me it would be "My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas. Lies completely outside my normal area of interest (not a Fergie fan at all) but still catchy.

My normal taste is...all over the place. I like everything from 90s rap (Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Got Your Money") to classical (Dvorak's "New World Symphony"). At least I get a lot of exposure.

Don't know a ton about Eurobeat. What I do know stems from Initial D, the only anime I have watched.

I always thought it was about suppression of sexuality (thus the Irish Catholic religious reference).

Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake. Both of my kids loved the movie Trolls and that soundtrack was heard in the car far too many times, but it's catchy!!

.....Shake it Off by T Swift. Goddammit, I hate admitting to this. I know the song sucks, but my youngest and I would rock out in the car to it and I think the enjoyment comes from a memory of her and I badly singing along.

I've been digging Lana del Rey's cover of Sublime's "Doin Time"

Never Gonna Give You Up due to the classic Rick Roll memes.  At one point I even had a custom version of Doom II which had a weapon called the Rick Roller which killed all the monsters with the song playing from a boom box.

"We Built This City" by Starship

Don't understand why there is a lot of hate for that song. There are plenty of worse ones.

Well there's at least 2 of us who like that one!

Yeah, that's a good one. In general, I like her voice and her aesthetic, but I have to be in an actual mood where I want to listen to her music in order to do so. She was great when I saw her live a few years ago, though. (Also, her general fan base is...a bit much.)

Today's Rick Astley's birthday, so I'm expecting to see a lot of Rickrolls around the internet.

Yeah, this is a good one for me as well. Never Gonna Give You Up and Together Forever are both sneaky good songs that I don't usually admit to liking.

Make that three.
Don’t ask me how I know.  Just understand that I do.

"We Built This City" reminds me of "we are the warriors that built this town" from Warriors (ft. Imagine Dragons), another guilty pleasure for the ages.

hbelkins

"American Hair Band" by Tuff.

"Three Little Pigs" by Green Jello. (who later had to change their name to Green Jelly due to trademark issues)

"Wango Tango" and "Terminus Eldorado" by Ted Nugent.

"I Think I'm Going Bald" by Rush.

"Nothin's gonna stop us now" (same artist) is worse.

Guilty pleasures include:
* "Me and my Girls", Selena Gomez (I'm definitely not in the target demo)
* "Hallucinate", Dua Lipa
* "Evacuate the Dancefloor", Cascada (when you ask for Britney but Mom says we have Britney at home)
* "I'm in Miami Bitch", LMFAO
* "Help Me", Joni Mitchell (I'm convinced she listened to "Starship Trooper" a few times earlier)

But... no reason to feel guilty. These are good songs

Back in 2006-2008, I drove a janitorial delivery route in and around southern Illinois.  Before moving to Wichita, I trained a new guy to run my route.  His guilty pleasure was that he was a fan of the Bee Gees.  As a young black guy, he told me, he had to keep that a secret from all of his black friends–basically from everyone but his wife–or else he'd never hear the end of it from them!  But, as long as he was in the box truck with me, his secret was safe and he could listen to those Bee Gees all he wanted (on a jambox propped up on the seat back, because the radio didn't work in our truck).

I still think of him every time I hear the Bee Gees.

More so than the UW Varsity Band playing it during their '5th Quarter' shows after Badger and Packer games?

A few years ago I would have said a lot of mid-late 1970s disco, as I liked it when a lot of others thought it to be worse than post-Urban Cowboy country.  Since then, with the post-Millennials seeming to like it, I narrowed it down to a lot of stuff by Abba.
