If that's anything less than 65, that's another state on my no-drive list! ...
At your rate, you'll soon have all 50 states on your no drive list!

Yeah, no kidding! This would be no higher than 55 mph in New York, so that will be my guess.
Not 55 mph.

Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

In NY that would be 45, with the exception of Montauk Highway.
From what I've heard, New York is pretty good at least keeping their highways at 55 mph.

60 mph?
Correct, Park Road 22 outside Corpus Christi, TX out on North Padre Island.

Usually, a road like this would normally be 75 mph (or at least 70 mph) in this state, however, for some reason, TxDOT seems to shy around posting anything above 60 mph in these coastal areas. SH-361 further north of here is in a similar situation, same with some roads near Houston (that could at least get up to 65 mph with their environmental limits).

For the record, I've driven this specific road in question, and easily maintained around 70 mph the whole way with no visible reason that would warrant 60 mph. It's a 7 mile stretch in the middle of nowhere, 60 mph just seems tiring. Then again, I've had my fair share of tiring 55 mph both two and four lanes for much longer than 7 miles being up here in Virginia. It's especially a nuisance when there's little to no traffic around, because I want to drive faster, but I don't want to risk a ticket. So I'll usually just hold around 7-8 mph over which is still a slog, but better than the even lower limit I suppose.

That road should just be posted with one of those white circles with a black line across it. I think it means unlimited in Germany? :-D

I'm happy to pass it to someone else who hasn't recently gone.

I'm thinking Bruce, kphoger, SkyPesos?

Correct. It's on Liberty Way just east of I-75 in West Chester, OH. The 55 mph section is pretty short. From my own experience, no one drives that fast, but I think it's more of that drivers ignore the only 55 mph sign in each direction than because the road is unsafe to do so. Map of the location below, with the 55 mph section highlighted, numbers at the speed limit sign location, and blue arrow is the location and view of the screenshot I used.

I'm shocked! 55 mph on a road with front yards of houses right there. Maybe it was just the picture angle but nice.
I purposely angled it to attempt to throw some of you off  :-D.
