I originally was looking at the area along NY 16 around Franklinville and Machias.  When the Orleans County clue came up, I was looking for a crossroad along any state highway in the county starting with NY 245 then with NY 247.  I just happened to check the one by French Cemetery and, there it was.

Someone may post another challenge in my place.
