How about some photos of the new freeway grade of CA 58 along the Centennial Corridor from the dedication this morning?  I'll be curious to see how long it takes Google to get street view images of this:

Considering Google is based in California, I bet it won't take too long.

Google Maps isn't entirely made in California. A significant number of their workers for the Maps team are contracted out to a firm in Bothell, WA.

They were quick on the draw this morning to show the Centennial Corridor on the map as an existing roadway.
Still can't route directions on it, though.

Picked up photos for several roads not in Google Street View today in Madera County.

Took photos today on the dirt segment of White Rock Road in Mariposa County which doesn't have GSV coverage.  Irony being that the dirt segment was vastly smoother than the asphalt portion.

I drove the entirety of Cooperstown Road in Stanislaus County yesterday which has no coverage in GSV beyond a small asphalt stub.  Aside from several washouts near the western terminus this was no big deal in low clearance:

I have photos of the new VT/NH 119 on my website.

My home was not on GSV until the beginning of this year, and we'd moved there six years ago. So I had a few photos but I'm not going to post them all...

Drove the dirt segment of Madera County Road 420 (Thornberry Road) between CA 41 and Road 223 this morning.  The 8.7 inches of clearance in my wife's Forester was required to make it through:

I spent a lot of time yesterday on dirt roads in Mariposa County with little or no Street View coverage.

This album is of Chowchilla Mountain Road east of CA 49 to Battalion Pass.  The Google Driver was rightfully deferred by this road.  It is pretty infamous for trapping tourists following GPS units onto a 1870-era high clearance stage road towards Yosemite National Park.

Google Street View doesn't have anything for Preston Road.  This is very well maintained and easily passable for low clearance.

The Google Car made it a couple miles on West Westfall Road south of White Rock Road.  This is also a very well maintained roadway.
